Haematology Oncology Day Unit  

If you have cancer, your consultant may recommend that you are treated with Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) at our Haematology Oncology Day Unit at Letterkenny University Hospital. 

Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) is any drug treatment used to control or treat cancer. 

The drug treatment types may include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy or a combination of these.

Opening hours: Our Haematology Oncology Day Unit at Letterkenny University Hospital is open on:

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am to 6pm
  • Wednesday and Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Directions: The Haematology Oncology Day Unit entrance is to the left of the Day Services Unit entrance past the blue containers. There is a drop off point at the Day Services Unit entrance where a car may stop briefly but not park.
