Sligo University Hospital to hold Remembrance Service for families who have experienced the loss of a baby or child

Sligo University Hospital (SUH) is inviting parents and their families who have experienced bereavement, through the death of a baby or child or who have experienced pregnancy loss to remember their loved ones in a special Mass of Remembrance, which will take place on Wednesday, 15 November at 8pm in St Anne’s Small Chapel, Cranmore, Sligo, F91 R250.
 
Maria White, End of Life Coordinator at the hospital said says, “The Remembrance Service will be an opportunity for parents and families who have experienced bereavement to come together and share their grief in an understanding and empathetic environment. Following the Mass, light refreshments will be served in St Anne’s small Chapel we look forward to meeting with families to listen to their stories as they share their memories.”

“For those unable to attend in person, the mass will be streamed live on https://mcnmedia.tv/Camera/st-annes-cranmore and clicking ‘Side Chapel’.”
