Location of Post
There is currently one Specified Purpose & Whole-Time Candidate Advanced Practice Radiation Therapist (cAPRT) vacancy available in Gynaecology, Galway University Hospitals.
The post of Candidate Advanced Practice Radiation Therapist is a whole-time Specified Purpose Contract for the duration of the candidacy i.e. maximum of 3 years.
The candidate is required to achieve essential milestones thereby successfully completing their candidacy within a maximum of 3 years from commencement of this post.
On successful completion of the requirements of the candidacy programme, the candidate will be appointed to the post of Advanced Practice Radiation Therapist on a permanent basis.
Failure to successfully complete their candidacy within a maximum of 3 years from commencement in this candidate post, will result in termination of the Advanced Practice career pathway for the candidate and a return to a previously held substantive post OR redeployment within the organisation.
A panel may be formed as a result of this campaign from which current and future, permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration may be filled.
