Post Specific Related Information 

The Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) for Insulin Pump Therapy will provide expert specialist nursing care to adults with Type 1 diabetes requiring insulin pump treatment, in accordance with HSE national policies and the Integrated Care Programme for Diabetes. The post holder will coordinate and deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based insulin pump initiation, education, and ongoing management, empowering patients to achieve optimal glycaemic control and improved quality of life.

Must have own transport and be able to travel ( home Visits ) and work across sites and cross hospital group settings .
