There is currently one permanent / whole-time vacancy available in Portiuncula University Hospital
The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within either IHA Galway/ Roscommon, IHA Mayo OR other IHA areas should the need arise.
Panels may be formed for Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) Coordinator IHA Galway/ Roscommon & IHA Mayo from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled.
The panels formed from these interviews may be used to fill unfilled post across other IHA areas should the arise.

- Experience and evidence of managing and working in partnership and collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts in including patient and service user representative groups
- Experience of leading and managing projects in a healthcare and/or social care environment which partner with patients and service users
- Evidence of working in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders e.g. service users, government departments, senior managers, trade unions, NGO’s and Advocacy organisations.
