Covid-19 Vaccine Registration Open for 12 to 15 year olds

  • Parents invited to register their 12 to 15 year olds for a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine (Pfizer/Moderna)
  • Consent is required by a parent or legal guardian in advance or on the day of vaccination
  • Register online at hse.ie or by phone at 1800 700 700 for HSE vaccination centre appointments.

Parents of children aged between 12 and 15 living in Ireland can register their child for their COVID-19 vaccine from today, Thursday August 12.

Walk-in Vaccination Clinics this Weekend

Please see below for dates, times and locations of walk-in COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics.

No appointment needed.

Vaccinations for ages 16 and above.

Dose 1 vaccinations only. If you attend the walk-in clinic for dose 1, we'll send you an appointment for your second dose by text message to your phone. Your second dose will be arranged at a vaccination centre near your home address, but you can change the location if you wish.

A Message to Staff from Saolta CEO Tony Canavan

The CEO of the Saolta Hospital Group is urging all staff to keep up their guard against Covid19.

In a message to those working across the hospital group, Tony Canavan praised the great work being carried out, adding that real progress has been made.

CEO warns of continuing significant impact of cyber attack

One month on from the cyber attack on HSE IT systems, the CEO of the Saolta Hospital Group has warned that patient services continue to feel the impact in Letterkenny, Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon, Portiuncula and Galway University Hospitals.

COVID-19 Vaccine for Pregnant Women

The Maternity Units in Letterkenny, Sligo, Mayo, Portiuncula and UHG are arranging for women who are between 14 and 36 weeks’ gestation to get their COVID-19 vaccine at the vaccination centres closest to the Maternity Unit.

Disruption to Hospital Services Across the Saolta Group of Hospitals

Most services have resumed however some of the clinical systems are functioning far slower and less integrated than normal and this is resulting in delays for patients at appointments.
There are significant delays for patients attending the Emergency Departments.

Leitrim HSE COVID-19 Vaccination centre opens in new Primary Care Centre, Carrick on Shannon

Leitrim’s HSE COVID-19 vaccination centre opens today (12/05/2021) in the new Primary Care Centre, Carrick on Shannon. The first vaccination clinic is operating this morning with staff from Saolta University Health Care Group and Community Healthcare Organisation Area 1, as part of a phased opening of the new centre.
