Cardiology patients across East Galway and Roscommon are experiencing faster, more accessible, and personalised care thanks to the East Galway Roscommon Integrated Care Hub, which provides a community-based Consultant-led and Clinical Nurse Specialist service.
Led by Consultant Cardiologist Dr Nuria Farre, the Hub has seen over 1,000 patients since its introduction in April 2023, delivering timely cardiac care closer to patients in their own communities.

There were smiles all round at North West Hospice on the Mall in Sligo when patients, staff and visitors were treated to a visit from some donkeys recently.
Each month these gentle therapy donkeys are kindly bought in to visit by the staff and volunteers of the Sathya Sai Sanctuary.

There was a day of celebration and remembrance for residents, family members and staff at Arus Breffni in Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim on Friday October 17th 2025.
The day saw residents, staff past and present and members of the Manorhamilton community come together to remember all those who have lived and worked in Arus Breffni over the past fifty years. It was an event of song, music and dance and a special video was compiled for those present about Arus Breffni.
