PUH to hold special mass to celebrate 80 years of service

Portiuncula University Hospital is delighted to announce that it will be celebrating 80 years of delivering healthcare to Ballinasloe and the surrounding areas this year. As part of that celebration, the hospital will hold a special mass on Thursday, 20 April at 3pm in Gullanes Hotel, Ballinasloe.
 
"We are delighted to be celebrating this momentous milestone," said James Keane, Hospital Manager.  
 
”Portiuncula University Hospital has been an integral part of the local community and has served multiple generations of families right across the county and surrounding areas. 
 
“Our mass is to commemorate the founding of Portiuncula University Hospital and to acknowledge the contributions of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Divine Motherhood (FMDM) and all of our staff, past and present, who have served this community so effectively.
 
"We would like to extend a special invitation to all of our staff, past and present, and anyone who has been a part of this journey, to come and celebrate with us, 80 years of Portiuncula University Hospital."
