Roscommon University Hospital bids farewell to Mr Liam McMullin

Mr Liam McMullin, Consultant General Surgeon has retired from Roscommon University Hospital following 17 years of excellent and committed service to the hospital.

Mary Garvey Hospital Manager said, “Mr McMullin was a key member of the Hospital Management Team and played an integral role in the development of surgical services over the years. In particular he played a pivotal part in the opening of the Endoscopy Unit in 2016, and the development of the world-class JAG accredited service that the Unit now provides.

“His legacy at the hospital will be long-remembered through his role in development of new services and for training many surgical doctors who now work in health services across the world.

“The management and staff of the hospital wish Mr McMullin a long and well-earned happy retirement.”
