Purpose of the Post:
The overall management of all aspects of Scheduled Care including all administrative staff assigned to the areas via the line management structures. Provide day to day Operational and project management and senior leadership to ensure appropriate governance and delivery of scheduled care KPIs & transformation as set out in Sláintecare Strategy & Waiting Times Action Plans. Support the Hospital Management team with the management of Scheduled care. Work alongside colleagues in Patient Services in the development of patient pathways for new and existing services of Portiuncula University Hospital

Location Details:
There is currently one specified purpose, whole-time vacancy available in Portiuncula University Hospital The position is in the Patient Services Department. The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within either IHA Galway/ Roscommon, IHA Mayo OR other IHA areas should the need arise. Panels may be formed for Grade VII Scheduled Care lead, IHA Galway/ Roscommon & IHA Mayo from which current and future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full or part time duration may be filled. The panels formed from these interviews may be used to fill unfilled post across other IHA areas should the arise.
