Post Specific Related Information
- Have current experience working with midwives in clinical practice
- Competent in the clinical skills required to support midwives in the maternity department
- Works to keep education programmes fresh and maintains currency of educational programmes informed by evidence
- Provide evidence of clinical supervision, mentoring and expert resource.
- Open to using simulation as part of their teaching strategy and keeps up to date with advancements in this area
- Demonstrates a commitment to supporting staff midwives and give the time and effort to engage with and be accessible to staff midwives.
- Demonstrates excellent planning, organization and prioritization skills, to effectively meet deadlines and to deliver to high standards across the areas of responsibility
- Has good time management skills to manage workload
