Galway University Hospitals (GUH) are currently looking for volunteers to be part of the Patient Council for the Hospital. As some members of the current Patient Council are nearing the end of their term we are now seeking new members. The aim of the Patient Council is to work with GUH to identify current and future opportunities to improve the care experience for patients, families and caregivers when using the services of both University Hospital Galway and Merlin Park University Hospital.

University Hospital Galway and Merlin Park University Hospital are introducing new visiting times from Tuesday 03 August. From this date, the hospitals will be facilitating one visitor per patient each day between 6pm and 8pm. Visits must be arranged by family members/visitors in advance by contacting the relevant ward or Unit.
